Gardener Class Guide

The Gardener class takes farming in Once Human and gives it a weird, biomechanical twist. In Nalcott, you are not just planting seeds anymore. You are grafting crops with mech parts to create plants that can help in combat, gather resources, and even move with you outside your territory.

Once Human Gardener

Starting Equipment:

  • Portable Planter Box. Lets you plant and carry biomechanical crops wherever you go.
  • Environment Detector. Shows real-time info about nearby soil and weather conditions.

Core Ability:

  • HP Sewing. Lets you graft plants with other crops or biomechanical parts. These parts can drop from Deviants out in the wild and let you grow some strange, stat-boosted hybrids.

Talents:

  • Environmental Expert. Uses the Environment Detector to keep track of soil health and make items that restore or boost fertility.
  • Portable Planting. Lets you convert crops into seeds and store biomechanical materials on the go.
  • Greenhouse Tech. Gives you a Greenhouse Module to tweak crop growth conditions.

Soil now has a Fertility stat. Higher fertility means better harvests. It drops as you grow crops, but you can bring it back with Soil Solution or just wait. Low fertility does not ruin your crops, but high fertility gives you an advantage.
