Before Version 2.0, animals in Once Human were just walking resource farms. No loyalty. No interaction. Now, the Beastmaster class gives players the ability to bond with animals, understand their behavior, and take them into battle or exploration outside their territory.

You can lead a pack of wolves against Rosetta, have a golden bear help you fish for salmon, or even use a rabbit’s digging skills to uncover rare underground treats. Animal partners are more than just pets. They are part of the team.
Starting Equipment:
- Beast Whistle. Links to a chosen animal in your territory and allows summoning it while exploring.
Starting Partner. Pick one of three companions:
- Pongo. A green boar that gathers efficiently and can sniff out rare items.
- Misha. A large golden bear that serves as a tank in combat.
- Shiro. A white wolf with late-game potential. Grows stronger with every battle and can eventually evolve into an alpha.
Core Ability:
Beast Partner. Lets you summon and control your chosen companion to help with combat, gathering, or mining. You can switch partners while in your territory.
Talents:
- Beast Whisperer. Understands animal communication. Wild animals will not run or attack and you can inspect their stats and traits.
- Breeding Expert. Uses mutant genes to alter traits and grow custom Beast Partners.
- Wilderness Master. Crafts gear that boosts your companion’s strength, utility, and growth speed.
